Linde Gas & Equipment Inc.<br><br><strong>Distribution Supervisor<br><br></strong>Tacoma, WA, United States | req29353 2nd Shift<br><br><strong>What you will enjoy doing*<br><br></strong><ul><li>In this role you will provide leadership and direction for day-to-day distribution operations to ensure customer demand is met consistently and eficiently</li><li>You will be responsible for maintaining supply reliability for customers and locations, ensuring all medical gas deliveries comply with FDA standards and Linde's quality assurance system </li><li> Schedule delivery of packaged and cryogenic products to meet internal goals, customer expectation and operational standard</li><li>Train the Distribution Team in all aspects of Linde Safety and Quality systems and requirements</li><li>You will monitor distribution efficiencies and staffing levels to ensure customer delmands are consistently met</li><li>You will lead safety initiatives, including adminsistering safety training, conducting evaluations, and overseeing accident investigations</li><li>Control costs by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting the most cost-efficient method of shipment</li><li>Drive productivity to maximize distribution capabilities and operational efficiency, while providing job training that fosters career development and growth<br><br></li></ul><strong>What Makes You Great<br><br></strong><ul><li>You must have a high school diploma; a ollege degree is strongly preferred</li><li>Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience, along with atleast 2+ years in Distribution, Logistics, or Transportation</li><li>You will have strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations </li><li> You are knowledgeable of regulatory agency requirements including FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA</li><li>Experience working in a Union environment is a plus</li><li>Demonstrated reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li><li>You have are self motivated with the proven ability to work independently and while maintaining a high level of accountability<br><br></li></ul><strong>Why you will love working with us<br><br></strong>Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
