Video Editor - Remote Projects for Creators & Brands

Job Summary:

Progressive Technology is seeking a talented and passionate Video Editor to join our team for remote projects focused on creating exceptional video content for creators and brands. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for turning raw footage into compelling, polished video productions that align with our clients brand messaging and creative vision. This is a remote role offering the opportunity to work on diverse and dynamic projects with some of the most innovative creators and brands in the digital space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit high-quality video content, including promotional videos, social media clips, branded content, and more.

  • Collaborate with content creators, project managers, and other team members to understand project goals and deliver video edits that meet or exceed expectations.

  • Ensure that all video content aligns with brand identity and adheres to clients creative brief and vision.

  • Review raw footage and select the best shots to create an engaging, story-driven narrative.

  • Implement sound design, visual effects, transitions, and color grading to enhance video content.

  • Provide creative input on video concepts and help drive innovative solutions for clients content needs.

  • Maintain and organize video files and assets to ensure efficient project workflow.

  • Meet deadlines and deliver projects on time while maintaining a high level of quality.

  • Stay updated with current trends in video production and editing software, and apply new techniques to improve production processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

  • Strong understanding of video production techniques, including editing, sound design, color grading, and motion graphics.

  • Experience with graphic design and motion graphics tools such as After Effects is a plus.

  • Solid understanding of video formats, resolutions, and codecs.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote teams and clients.

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for storytelling and creating visually engaging content.

  • A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work, ideally with examples from digital marketing or brand content.

Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience as a video editor or in a related role.

Working Hours:
