Duties

  • Engage with potential customers through door-to-door outreach, community events, and direct meetings to generate interest in solar energy products and services
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to tailor solar solutions that meet client requirements and budget considerations
  • Present compelling proposals, demonstrating the advantages of solar energy and addressing technical questions confidently
  • Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and follow up effectively
  • Negotiate contracts and financing options with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop local outreach strategies and promotional campaigns that boost brand awareness
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and project statuses within CRM systems
  • Stay informed on the latest solar technology trends, industry regulations, and competitive landscape to provide expert guidance

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales, energy sales, or technical sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Excellent negotiation skills paired with customer service expertise to build trust and close deals effectively
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse communities
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for managing customer data and sales pipelines
  • Experience in door-to-door sales or direct community engagement preferred but not required
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate yourself and collaborate within a team environment
  • Knowledge of solar energy systems, renewable energy markets, or related technical fields is a plus but not mandatory
