About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Executive to support local strategy and the day-to-day management of our UK social channels while contributing to international market activity. This is a hands-on role suited to an early-career marketer who is passionate about content creation, social trends, and community building.

You’ll play an important role in delivering engaging content, supporting campaign execution, and helping to grow our brand presence across social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management (UK)

  • Support the day-to-day management of the UK Instagram account, with opportunity to support TikTok as it develops
  • Plan, schedule and publish content in line with global brand guidelines
  • Monitor platform trends and flag opportunities for reactive or trend-led content
Content Planning & Execution
  • Assist in building and maintaining the UK content calendar, aligned with global campaigns and launches
  • Support the integration of UK-specific moments and trends into content plans
  • Help deliver a balanced mix of brand, UGC, professional, educational, and expert content
International Market Support
  • Support the Marketing Manager in working with international distributors on their social activity
  • Help ensure consistency of brand messaging across markets
  • Contribute to sharing content ideas and best practices
Community Management
  • Manage daily engagement across UK channels, including comments, DMs, and UGC
  • Build relationships with stylists, salons, educators, and consumers
  • Identify and share potential salon leads with the UK distributor
  • Support community growth and engagement initiatives
  • Use tools such as NectarSocial to assist with community management and reporting
Content Creation
  • Create and capture social-first content for UK and selected international markets
  • Shoot and edit content (Reels, Stories, TikTok-style videos)
  • Attend and support content capture at salons, events, and retail environments
  • Support the execution of paid partnerships in the UK
Performance & Reporting
  • Track performance across key metrics (engagement, reach, growth, saves, conversions)
  • Support monthly and ad hoc reporting for global teams
  • Use insights to suggest improvements to content performance
Marketing Team Support
  • Provide general administrative support, including:
  • Raising POs and processing invoices
  • Supporting contracts and legal coordination
  • Managing FOC/sample orders
Skills & Experience
  • 1–3 years’ experience in social media, marketing, or content creation
  • Experience supporting or managing brand social media accounts
  • Basic content creation skills (filming and editing for social)
  • Understanding of social platforms and trends (Instagram essential, TikTok a plus)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in beauty, haircare, or the professional salon industry is a plus
