What’s the role?

Etsy is seeking a highly motivated, data-driven, and strategically minded Senior Media Manager to lead global TV, OTT/CTV, and digital video strategy and execution! As a high-impact Individual Contributor, you will lead thee end-to-end strategy for Etsy's upper-funnel video investment, driving consideration and business growth across high impact video.

The ideal candidate brings a sophisticated blend of media planning expertise, analytical rigor, and hands-on buying experience. You excel in a fast-paced environment and can navigate ambiguity. You'll translate consumer insights into high-performing media campaigns and acting as the connective tissue between Brand, Research, Analytics, and agency partners to ensure every dollar works as hard as possible.

Execution involves influencing senior leadership on media and investment strategy, maintaining agency relationships, and driving cross-functional alignment across Brand, Analytics, and Finance. You will be responsible for interpreting market and brand data to optimize the global video media mix, integrating programmatic and data-driven buying, and maintaining a strong pulse on the evolving video landscape.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Brand Media. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.

This role requires your presence in Etsy’s Brooklyn Office once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. The Brand Marketing team helps buyers discover what makes Etsy special, fueling Etsy's growth via audience-centric storytelling and media placements — bringing the right message to the right audience, at the right moment. We collaborate closely with teams in Analytics, Research, Product and Finance to run and optimize global campaigns at scale. We are at the forefront of Etsy's brand investment, driving cultural relevance and full-funnel impact through the most premium media environments.

What does the day-to-day look like?

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Own the strategy development and end-to-end execution of global TV, OTT/CTV, and online video campaigns. Launch and optimize paid media campaigns to increase consideration and achieve business goals across key markets including the US, UK, and DE.
  • TV/OTT Audience Strategy & Programmatic Buying: Develop and apply TV and OTT audience strategies including household, demographic, behavioral, and device-based targeting. Integrate programmatic and data-driven TV buying where appropriate. Optimizing through DSPs such as The Trade Desk, Amazon Ads, and Google DV360.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize ad campaigns against Brand Metrics, ROI performance, frequency, and efficiency benchmarks. Bring curiosity and determination to dig deeper into data, identify what's working, and improve outcomes.
  • Measurement & Attribution: Partner with Analytics and Research teams to develop and implement robust measurement frameworks including platform attribution, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA). Define success metrics and embed measurement into activation workflows.
