About the Job

We're seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Operations Analyst with a passion for the cannabis industry to join the Connected and Alien Labs team. This role will be key to unlocking our sales potential by leveraging the extensive data and tools available to our industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in sales analytics and sales operations, and a talent for translating data to insights and action.

  • What You Will Do
  • Integrate data analysis with on-the-ground insight from the sales team to identify opportunities to drive revenue and build efficiency in sales operations.
  • Own our Repsly CRM as a tool to enable the sales team and deliver insight to the business.
  • Be a leader in leveraging market insights, technology, and data tools in strategic decision-making, selling process, and go-to-market strategies (i.e. Headset/BDSA data, VMI, etc…).
  • Work with vendor partners and data experts to build out tools to tackle tracking, reporting, and execution against out of stocks.
  • Provide data and tools to help sales leadership to develop and refine goals and incentives for the sales team.
  • Prepare weekly / monthly / quarterly reports evaluating sales performance and provide recommendations for areas of focus (accounts, discounts, rep performance, etc).
  • Participate in and contribute to high-level strategic planning sessions with cross-functional teams to align sales operations with company-wide objectives.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
  • What We Are Looking For
  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales analytics, or Sales Operations, preferably in the Cannabis industry.
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape across California preferred.
  • Experience working with Wholesale sales, market sales, and retail sales and inventory data preferably in the Cannabis industry with Headset, BDSA, Hoodie, Pistil, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer behavior and recommend new and effective sales tactics
  • Ability to effectively organize work, track progress, and motivate outstanding performance from diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
  • 21 years & older

Compensation Description (annually): The salary range for this position in the selected city is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
