Mochi Health supports Mochi Medical by providing administrative and operational services, but the role and clinical practice are under Mochi Medical.

About The Role

Mochi Health, originally founded as an obesity management practice, is expanding its virtual care model beyond weight management. We’re looking for board-certified physicians who are committed to delivering high-quality, accessible, and affordable care across a growing range of specialties. While obesity and metabolic health remain core areas of focus, our providers also support patients in areas such as dermatology, hormone replacement therapy, depression & anxiety, and hair loss.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct virtual visits for adults with acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions.
  • Provide ongoing obesity and metabolic health management, including GLP-1s and related treatments.
  • Deliver patient care in expanding domains such as dermatology, hormone replacement therapy, depression and anxiety, and hair loss management.
  • Work closely with Mochi’s multidisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
  • Use cost-conscious prescribing practices, offering compounded and generic options when appropriate.
  • Participate in continuing education through our optional monthly academic lecture series.

Who You Are

  • MD/DO currently board certified in a specialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
  • Minimum 2 years post-residency experience in adult primary or specialty care.
  • Telemedicine experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with or interest in obesity medicine and emerging treatment areas (dermatology, HRT, mental health, hair loss) is a plus.

Workplace Policy

Mochi Health is based in San Francisco, CA, with in-person collaboration five days a week. For office-based roles, the standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Hours may vary by role and business needs. Remote roles may have different arrangements. We provide meal and rest breaks in accordance with applicable laws.
