The University of Kansas Health System, Great Bend Campus, is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to provide compassionate and comprehensive OB/GYN care.

This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care in a rural, full-service community hospital supported by The University of Kansas Health System. The physician will join a team of two full-time physicians and one advanced practice provider (APP) in a physician-led model that prioritizes clinical excellence, accessibility, and strong team performance. Call coverage is 1:4, ensuring balanced responsibilities while providing comprehensive care to the community.

The physician will provide full-scope ambulatory obstetrical and gynecologic care, including contraceptive counseling and family planning services. Responsibilities also include inpatient obstetrical care and performing a range of surgical procedures such as hysteroscopies, laparoscopies, and hysterectomies.

The ideal candidate will be an MD, DO, or equivalent, who is board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with experience in practice preferred. Candidates must be eligible for or hold a Kansas medical license, and J-1 Visa candidates are welcome to apply.
