Job Summary

The Elite Job, a fast-growing and forward-thinking cybersecurity firm, is seeking a motivated Junior IT Associate to join our dynamic team. The Junior IT Associate will play a crucial role in providing technical support, assisting in system monitoring, and ensuring the integrity and security of our digital infrastructure. Working closely with senior IT and cybersecurity professionals, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to internal staff, addressing hardware, software, and networking issues.

  • Assist in monitoring systems, applications, and network performance to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.

  • Support the implementation of IT security measures in line with company policies and industry best practices.

  • Maintain IT documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting steps, and asset management records.

  • Assist with system updates, patches, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.

  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team on incident response, threat detection, and prevention activities.

  • Participate in IT projects such as software rollouts, system upgrades, and process improvements.

  • Ensure adherence to data privacy and security protocols across all systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (or ongoing studies) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).

  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in learning new technologies.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of relevant IT support or internship experience.

  • Prior exposure to cybersecurity concepts or certifications (CompTIA Security+, Network+, or equivalent) is a plus but not required.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week).

  • Standard office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

  • Flexibility may be required for urgent IT support or system maintenance outside regular hours.
