The IT Business Analyst & Project Coordinator supports internal and client-facing initiatives by partnering with project managers and business stakeholders to define requirements, document processes, and support implementation activities. This role focuses primarily on business analysis responsibilities such as requirements elicitation, documentation, and training support, while also providing project coordination assistance. The position is designed for an early-career professional and serves as an entry point into a project management career path, offering hands-on exposure to structured project delivery practices and ownership of small initiatives or workstreams under supervision. Responsibilities Facilitate and support requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders through workshops, interviews, and working sessions. Document business and functional requirements in a clear, structured, and actionable manner. Develop current-state and future-state process documentation including process diagrams, workflows, and responsibility matrices such as RACI. Translate business needs into documentation usable by project teams, technical resources, and leadership. Support the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria when applicable. Develop and maintain training materials to support system and process rollouts, including presentations, job aids, and reference guides. Deliver or co-facilitate training sessions for end users and managers in partnership with project managers. Act as a functional subject matter resource during implementation and post-deployment support. Collect user feedback, issues, and enhancement requests and coordinate review and prioritization with project and product leadership. Support assigned project managers by coordinating tasks, tracking action items, and maintaining project documentation. Own small initiatives or workstreams under project manager guidance, including task planning, execution support, and status reporting. Assist with meeting coordination, workshop logistics, stakeholder communications, and status updates. Maintain issue, risk, and dependency logs and escalate items as appropriate. Participate in the refinement of internal documentation standards, templates, and best practices. Identify opportunities to improve analysis, documentation, and training approaches. Support knowledge sharing across project management and business analysis teams. Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and strong attention to detail. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various organizational levels. Support additional tasks and initiatives as assigned by leadership. Qualifications  Required Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2-4 years of experience in a business analyst, project coordinator, or related role. Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting business or process requirements. Experience supporting or coordinating project-based initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to clearly document processes, requirements, and workflows. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Additional Requirements The role requires access to information subject to U.S. export controls under ITAR and or EAR regulations. The employee must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR, or be eligible for export licenses as determined by the company. Eligibility includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, individuals granted refugee status, or individuals granted asylum.
