Interior Architect - Mid-Level

We are a design-led studio working across high-end residential and hospitality projects, with a focus on crafted, considered interiors. Our work is rooted in materiality, detail and atmosphere, and we take pride in delivering projects that feel both refined and deeply personal.

We are looking for a Mid-Level Interior Architect to join our team, someone who enjoys being hands-on across all stages of a project and is equally comfortable developing concepts as they are resolving technical details on site.

The role

This is a key position within the studio, offering the opportunity to lead projects from early concept through to completion. You will work closely with the studio directors, clients and collaborators, taking ownership of both design and delivery.

We are looking for someone thoughtful and proactive, with a strong eye for detail and a genuine interest in how spaces come together.

What you’ll be doing

Design

  • Developing interior architecture concepts that are both creative and grounded
  • Translating briefs into spatial layouts, material palettes and cohesive schemes
  • Producing presentation material that clearly communicates design intent
Technical & delivery
  • Preparing detailed drawing packages and construction information
  • Resolving junctions, materials and bespoke elements with care and precision
  • Coordinating with contractors, suppliers and consultants throughout the build
  • Attending site regularly and staying closely involved during construction
Project leadership
  • Managing projects across all stages, ensuring a smooth and considered process
  • Keeping timelines, information and communication clear and well organised
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and project teams
Studio life
  • Working collaboratively within a small team environment
  • Supporting and mentoring more junior designers where needed
  • Contributing to an open, thoughtful design dialogue within the studio
About you You have solid experience in interior architecture at mid–senior level

You bring a strong portfolio showing both design sensibility and technical ability

You are confident working across all project stages, from concept to site

You are highly organised and naturally detail-oriented

You communicate clearly and build strong working relationships

You are comfortable taking ownership while remaining collaborative

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and/or SketchUp

Experience producing detailed drawing packages and construction information

Good understanding of materials, finishes and bespoke joinery

Familiarity with UK regulations and project delivery

Desirable

Experience in high-end residential or hospitality projects

FF&E specification and procurement experience An interest in craftsmanship, materials and sustainable design approaches
