Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Project Manager with expertise in Scrum and Agile methodologies to lead and deliver complex projects across diverse teams. This role demands an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and excels at driving project success by aligning business objectives with agile principles. The Gerente de Projetos will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams remotely, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery using Scrum and Agile frameworks in a fully remote environment.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, and business stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.

  • Track project progress, manage risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability within distributed teams.

  • Ensure alignment between technical teams and business goals through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

  • Manage project documentation, status reports, and performance metrics for senior leadership.

  • Drive adoption of Agile best practices and coach teams on Agile principles and methodologies.

  • Coordinate with external vendors or partners as necessary to support project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in Agile/Scrum environments, preferably in a remote setup.

  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent).

  • Strong understanding of Scrum framework, Agile principles, and project management best practices.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire distributed teams.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management roles, with at least 3 years focused on Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Demonstrated success managing remote and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience working with IT, software development, or technology-focused projects is highly preferred.

Working Hours

  • This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours.

  • Candidates must be able to coordinate across multiple time zones and participate in scheduled virtual meetings as required.
