Business Administration Apprentice - Office Support & Operations

Job Summary:

HR Service Jobs is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Administration Apprentice to join our Office Support & Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual eager to start their career in business administration, gain hands-on experience, and develop professional skills in a supportive and dynamic workplace. As an apprentice, you will play a key role in the daily administrative operations of the organization, supporting multiple departments and learning industry best practices in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support across departments including HR, Operations, and Finance.

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and efficiently.

  • Maintain and update databases, records, and documentation accurately.

  • Assist in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes when required.

  • Support scheduling and calendar management for internal teams.

  • Manage office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment.

  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as directed.

  • Collaborate with team members to streamline internal processes.

  • Uphold data confidentiality and adhere to company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics, Grade C/4 or above.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Reliable, punctual, and well-organized.

Experience:

  • No previous professional experience required.

  • Prior part-time or volunteer work in an office setting is a plus but not essential.

  • This role is designed for individuals at the beginning of their professional journey.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Flexible start and end times (typically between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM)

  • Hybrid working model may be considered after successful probation period
