Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused E-commerce Customer Service Freelancer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our online shoppers, providing timely support, resolving inquiries, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will play a vital role in building brand loyalty by delivering a high standard of service across various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, live chat, and messaging platforms in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Resolve issues related to orders, shipping, product information, returns, and refunds.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and document interactions in internal systems.

  • Collaborate with internal teams including logistics, technical support, and sales to resolve complex queries.

  • Escalate unresolved problems to the appropriate departments while ensuring follow-up.

  • Proactively suggest improvements in customer experience based on feedback and observed trends.

  • Assist in updating FAQs and internal support documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese (Spanish and English proficiency is a plus).

  • Strong customer orientation and problem-solving skills.

  • Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento).

  • Familiarity with help desk software (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom) is an advantage.

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

  • High level of empathy, patience, and attention to detail.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, preferably in an e-commerce or digital retail environment.

  • Freelance or remote work experience is preferred but not required.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours based on your availability.

  • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.

  • Weekend and evening availability is a plus, especially during peak seasons.
