Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a passionate and results-driven Admissions Consultant to join our dynamic College Entry division in Duluth, GA. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to prospective students and their families, guiding them through the admissions process, identifying their educational goals, and helping them understand how our services can support their academic journey. This role plays a critical part in shaping the future of aspiring college students by helping them navigate one of lifes most important transitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and families, offering comprehensive guidance on the college admissions process.

  • Conduct one-on-one consultations, both virtually and in-person, to assess academic background, goals, and needs.

  • Present tailored education plans and enrollment options, emphasizing program benefits and outcomes.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of college admissions trends, policies, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.

  • Track leads, update CRM systems, and ensure timely follow-ups to convert inquiries into successful enrollments.

  • Attend education fairs, community events, and webinars to promote Progressive Technologys college entry programs.

  • Achieve individual and team enrollment goals by effectively managing a pipeline of potential clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, Communications, or a related field.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and discretion.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in academic advising, college admissions, student recruitment, or related roles.

  • Prior experience in a consultative sales environment is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position (Monday–Friday), typically 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

  • Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for events or consultations.
