This position gives you the ideal blend of<br><br>healthcare & educational settings, clinicals & classrooms. We need your<br><br>expertise & years of understanding the healthcare field to give our<br><br>students a leg up on being successful & securing employment, where they<br><br>could be working beside you to save lives!<br><br>Your day-to-day***responsibilities***will vary, but are not limited to:<br><br><ul><li> Manages and supervises students in all assigned classroom and<br><br></li></ul>laboratory activities to ensure a safe and effective learning<br><br>environment.<br><br><ul><li> Keeps students informed and updated concerning course content,<br><br></li></ul>requirements, evaluation procedures and attendance requirements.<br><br><ul><li> Ensures each program/class contains essential curricular components,<br><br></li></ul>has appropriate content and pedagogy, and maintains currency.<br><br>Maintains a high level of expertise in the subjects taught and<br><br>stimulates enthusiasm for those subjects.<br><br><ul><li> Evaluates students to measure their progress toward the achievement<br><br></li></ul>of course outcomes/competencies.<br><br><ul><li> Develops, revises, and/or recommends curriculum changes which meet<br><br></li></ul>the objectives of the course/program and improve student learning.<br><br><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong>**Education:**<br><br><ul><li> Associates Degree in Nursing,required, Bachelors degreepreferred.<br><br></li></ul>(Willingness to start BSN within one year.)<br><br><strong>Preferred Qualification<br><br></strong><ul><li> One year experience working as a registered nurse,preferred.</li><li> Minimum five years experience in nursing, nurse educator, nurse<br><br></li></ul><strong>Practitioner Or Experience In a Related Area, Required.<br><br></strong><ul><li> Maintains current, unrestricted Kansas RN license.</li><li> Obtains at own expense, yearly TB test and other immunizations or<br><br></li></ul>physical examinations asrequiredby clinical sites.
